Les Eaux Tranquilles sits in 2 acres of park bordered by the river Aude with the Pyrenees Mountains forming a dramatic backdrop.

Les Eaux Tranquilles is centrally located for both Perpignan and Carcassonne international airports both within 50 minutes drive. For visitors arriving from further abroad we are approximately 1hr 40 minutes from Toulouse with direct flight to the Americas and beyond.

Ideally located for touring the Cathar country with it’s Cathar Castles and Chateau’s, ancient gorges (our nearest, Pierre-Lys, is just two minutes away), 16th century villages, vineyards and more yet within easy reach of the coast (Narbonne and Perpignan) and ski resorts (Font-Romeu, Les Angles, Puyvalador) makes this an ideal all year retreat.

This particular area is renowned for its water activities such as white water rafting, kayaking, canoeing, canyoning and hydrospeed as well as walking, cycling, hiking, horse riding, quad bikes, fishing and of course sight seeing.

During the summer months breakfast and evening meals are served on our large terrace with excellent views of the Pierre-Lys gorge and the peaks of the Pyrenees Mountains.

Rooms

We have 4 double rooms (Fontainebleau can be configured as a twin if required). We are regularly inspected by the French authorities and also carry a Thomas Cook 3 star grading.

Lavender – Our largest room with mountain views contains a king-size bed and has a full en-suite bathroom.

Price – 60 Euros per night, 55 Euros per night for 7 days or more and 665 Euros per week for half board.

Sauge – Double bedded and overlooks the river Aude and Pyrenees mountains. It has a full en-suite bathroom which benefits from a massage shower.

Price – 60 Euros per night, 55 Euros per night for 7 days or more and 665 Euros per week for half board.

Fontainbleau – King size or twin (please state configuration when booking) overlooks the river Aude and Pyrenees mountains. The en-suit bathroom contains a shower and toilet with the washbasin being discreetly placed within the bedroom.

Price – 50 Euros per night, 45 Euros per night for 7 days or more and 595 Euros per week for half board.

Aude – Upstairs double room again overlooking the river Aude and Pyrenees mountains. Not suitable for those who have problems with stairs.

Price – 45 Euros per night, 40 Euros per night for 7 days or more and 490 Euros per week for half board.

Lavender, Sauge and Fontainebleau all have tea and coffee making facilities which are free and replenished every day.

Our prices stay the same throughout the year but are supplemented by special offers such a 3 nights for the price of 2. We also have special offers for the Tour de France which passes every two years.

NO CHILDREN – To retain the ambiance and tranquility we do not permit children less than 14 years of age.

Private parking is avaible withing the grounds at no extra charge.

Apart from Aude all other rooms and the terrace are on the same level with a 8” step up into the house (from an disabled parking space) which easily accomodates the partially disabled.
