Last year’s devastating fire at the Notre-Dame de Paris prompted an outpouring of love for the iconic Gothic building. A new book by Kathy Borrus looks back at nearly nine centuries of the landmark building – its architecture, history and legacy – with gorgeous and sometimes rarely seen archival photographs on every page. It feels appropriate that a book dedicated to such an intricately designed building also takes great care in its own aesthetic, down to the stained-glass window image on the hard cover.
