The city’s La Mère Brazier became the most famous restaurant in France and attracted film stars and French presidents. Its proprietor and chef, Eugénie Brazier, was the first woman awarded six Michelin stars. Brazier became the inspiration and mentor for modern French cooking and some of her best-loved recipes are encapsulated in this cookery book. First published in 1977, it is still inspiring French cuisine to this day.
