American chef and baker David Lebovitz, has lived in Paris since 2004, where he publishes a popular food and lifestyle blog, and writes books about food, Paris or food in Paris. Having spent years enjoying encounters with market traders, chocolatiers and pâtissiers, he finds the experience of dealing with notaires and contractors rather less appetising.
