Holiday company France Travel Services has teamed up with Glasgow airport to offer three new direct flights to France and there’s a new ferry on the cross-Channel route.

P&O Ferries has added a second new ship to its cross-Channel fleet. The new €180 million Spirit of France vessel, along with its sister ship Spirit of Britain which came into service last year, are the largest ferries ever built for the Dover Strait weighing more than 47,000 gross tons and 213 metres in length. The new ship services the Dover to Calais route and is capable of carrying 2,000 passengers.
