Angelina and Brad buy a rock n’ roll castle

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are said to have purchased a French ch�teau, where musical greats such as AC/DC, Sting, Pink Floyd and The Cure have recorded albums.

While the Pitt-Jolie’s new French pad is famous for being home to the Studio Miraval, it is also known for its tranquil and secluded setting in the French countryside.The Cure actually took up residence in the ch�teau while recording their seventh album Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me’ and many of the members’ families also moved into the estate until recording was complete.Britpack plunge into French consciousness in new exhibitionIn autumn 2009, the Museum or Art and Industry La Piscine’, will present a major exhibition devoted to the Bloomsbury Group. This event will be the first in France to celebrate this extraordinary body of artistic personalities who opened the doors of the UK to modern art in France.The exhibition recognises the role that certain members, especially that of Roger Fry, played in building awareness of French Modern art in the UK before the First World War. Visitors to the exhibition will also discover artistic personalities from England and France.
